Gurugram, Feb. 14 -- The Union ministry of road transport and highways (MoRTH) is considering to extend the jurisdiction of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Gurugram, beyond the Kherki Daula toll plaza till Bilaspur village near the Haryana border with Rajasthan. The move is aimed at better maintenance of Delhi-Jaipur highway (NH-48), part of which falls in the district.

As of now, NHAI Gurugram's role ends at Kherki Daula toll plaza. Beyond the toll plaza till the Haryana border in Bilaspur, NHAI Jaipur is responsible for the development work.
