Gurugram, Jan. 26 -- On January 22, while covering a book club event for the book, "Ikigai: The Japanese Secret To Long and Happy Life" with co-author Francesc Miralles in the city, I witnessed first-hand the city's love for reading. A large crowd had gathered to hear the author speak about his work as well as get their copies signed.
Excited believers of Japanese philosophy came to event carrying their own copies of the book, thereby revealing the age-old habit of treasuring words on paper.
At the end of the event, people lined up with books in hands and camera mode in phone for the author to sign their copies.
