Chandigarh, Dec. 18 -- Haryana's financial commissioner revenue and disaster management, Sumita Misra, on Wednesday said that nearly 50,000 property registrations have been successfully completed through the state's paperless registration system. During a surprise inspection of the Panchkula tehsil office, Misra said that security-embedded paper would soon be introduced for property registration to further strengthen transparency and to bring authenticity in land records. Additionally, an auto-mutation facility is set to be launched in the coming days, which will automatically update revenue records immediately after registration, significantly reducing delays and eliminating scope for manual intervention.
