Chandigarh, Nov. 20 -- Under the National Food Security and Nutrition Mission (Coarse grains), the Haryana government will provide subsidies to farmers for barley seed distribution, demonstration plots, and plant and soil conservation management in Panchkula, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Hisar, Jhajjar and Charkhi Dadri districts. A spokesperson of the agriculture department said that farmers can submit their applications as per their crop sowing and crop timelines. Farmers can also contact the office of the agriculture development officer, block agriculture officer etc. The spokesperson further informed that similarly, under the National Food Security and Nutrition Mission (Wheat), farmers in eight districts - Ambala, Bhiwani, Hisar, Jhajjar, Mewat, Palwal, Charkhi Dadri and Rohtak - will receive subsidies for wheat demonstration plots, seed distribution, and plant and soil conservation management.
