GMDA puts 24x7 plan in place to keep ggm roads motorable
Gurugram, Sept. 2 -- The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has intensified efforts to tackle waterlogging, with its flood control office operating 24x7 since July to safeguard residents and traffic during the monsoon.
High-capacity pumps have been installed at Narsinghpur, Khandsa Chowk, Basai Chowk, Rajiv Chowk and near Tau Devi Lal Stadium, while mobile pumps and suction tankers remain on standby. "Flexible pumping systems allow us to provide immediate drainage support," said Vikram Singh, executive engineer, GMDA.
