Jaipur, May 14 -- At least 95.90% girls in Rajasthan passed the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) examinations for Class 10 in 2024-25 session against 94.17% boys while 92.73% girls passed the class 12 examination against only 87.16% boys, according to the results announced by the board on Tuesday. According to the statement issued by the CBSE, over 54,000 students took part in the class 10 exam of CBSE this year and over 89,000 in Class 12 final examination. From Rajasthan, Devanshi Shekhawat from Jaipur secured second rank in the country and topped in the state with 99.8% marks in the Class 12 final. She also got perfect score in four subjects. "Discipline and hardwork were my keys to achieve this result. I followed what my school teachers said and made NCERT books my bible," said Devanshi, a student of Science stream in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Her father is currently posted as an additional district judge (ADJ) in Bikaner. "I want to study law and also want to explore that field in future like my father," said Devanshi. Another student from Jaipur's Neeraja Modi School, Sarvagya Teheliya, who secured 99.4% said that his key to this achievement was balance between study and sports. "I have never taken any coaching. I used to study for five to six hours in a day and would also spend significant time in my sports activities. I am now preparing for CUET and wants to get an admission in Delhi University." Meanwhile, Anushka Tiwadi from Jaipur's St. Angella Sofia Senior Secondary School topped in the state in Class 10 examination with 99.6% while Nitiksha Sharma from Jaipur's PM Shree Kendriya Vidyalaya (number 2) secured 99.4% securing second rank in the state....
