Rohtak, Aug. 25 -- Girls residing on Maharshi Dayanand University campus in Rohtak have expressed threat to their privacy after spotting an object believed to be a drone (unmanned aerial vehicle) hovering over their hostels. The 'drone' was first noticed about 20 days ago, but it was construed as an aeroplane. However, following frequent sightings, the girls approached their warden, who asked the police to take note of the issue.

The matter on Friday reached Rohtak superintendent of police (SP) Rahul Sharma, who said, "I have asked officials to identify who had been flying the drone. Security on the campus has been beefed up." At least 25,000 girls are currently living in nine hostels on the university campus.
