Jaipur, May 14 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday directed officials to prepare timelines to implement every budget announcement and ensure that they are completed within set deadlines. He emphasised the government's commitment to making Rajasthan a developed state by 2047, with a focus on youth empowerment and inclusive growth. "The officials should work by preparing a timeline to fulfil each budget announcement. They must ensure the completion of tasks within the set deadlines. Keeping in mind the vision of a developed Rajasthan by 2047, the government has made various provisions in each of its budgets for the all-round development of the state. We are continuously working to provide ample employment opportunities to the youth of the state, making them self-reliant, empowered, and prosperous," Sharma said. While addressing a review meeting at the chief minister's residence regarding the implementation of the budget announcements for the year 2025-26, he said that the government is ensuring regular follow-up on the progress of budgetary announcements so that the benefits of these schemes reach the last person on the ground. "Providing employment to the youth of the state is the top priority of the government. In this direction, recruitment processes are underway for nearly 188,000 government posts," he said. The CM pointed out that the state government is ensuring easy and quality access to public welfare schemes in remote areas of the state. "In line with this, recruitment will soon be conducted for various positions in the Forest Department, as well as for Patwaris, school teachers, and constables. The Department of Personnel has already initiated preliminary action in this regard." Sharma said that a new post of hospital manager will be created to ensure better administrative management in all medical institutions, including medical colleges. He directed that doctors and nursing staff working in the department should be provided with special training to enhance their management skills. He also stated that the Mahila Arogya Yojana and RGHS Portal should be integrated under the Integrated Health Management System. He also instructed officials to organise health camps to accelerate the creation of e-health records. The chief minister said that Shri Anna (millets) should be included in various state government programs to promote its usage. Highlighting its nutritional value and utility, he directed that millet-based products be introduced on a pilot basis in mid-day meals and Maa-Badi centres to enhance children's nutrition and immunity. Sharma instructed officials to use products made by Self-Help Groups and Rajeevika women in government events, which would not only promote these products but also boost the income of the women involved.
