four killed in separate road accidents in Ggm, Faridabad
Gurugram, May 15 -- Four people, including a 73-year-old woman on her way to withdraw her pension, were killed in separate road accidents involving speeding vehicles in Gurugram and Faridabad on Tuesday, police said on Wednesday.
In Gurugram's first incident, Sunil Kumar, 36, a contractual group-D employee posted at Manesar traffic police station, died after his motorcycle was hit by a speeding vehicle near Panchgaon Chowk on NH-48 around 2am while returning from patrol duty.
In the second incident, Naresh Kumar, 37, died after his motorcycle was hit by a speeding pickup truck on Rewari-Pataudi Road near Ransika village at 10.15am. In Faridabad, meanwhile, Savita Sharma, 73, was fatally hit by a truck while crossing a road in Sector-3 at 11.40am. She was heading to a bank to withdraw her old-age pension.
Separate FIRs were filed at the respective police stations....
