Gurugram, June 16 -- The enforcement wing of the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) on Saturday issued 250 show cause notices to property owners in Sushant Lok Phase 3 for alleged violations including illegal constructions, unauthorised commercial activities, and fully covered basements, officials said. The action is part of DTCP's new "office-on-the-spot" campaign, under which the entire enforcement team conducts streetwise inspections. Notices were issued and pasted at sites in real time. A 12-member enforcement team surveyed Blocks A, B, and C for six hours and found commercial establishments operating in violation of rules. "Operating commercial establishments, shops, restaurants, guest houses puts pressure on infrastructure and also causes a lot of inconvenience to neighbours. On Saturday, our team inspected Sushant Lok 3 and pasted notices on 250 houses," said Amit Madholia, district town planner (enforcement). The violations included clinics, yoga centres, parlours, offices operating from residential units, illegal constructions in stilt parking areas, roof extensions, and zoning breaches. Owners have been given seven days to respond. "If the reply is not found satisfactory, then a restoration order will be issued and later the property can also be sealed," said Madholia.
