New Delhi, Nov. 25 -- The Delhi government is set to launch 70 more new Arogya Mandir clinics in November, taking the total number of operational health clinics in the capital to over 200. Health minister Pankaj Singh told HT that these new mandirs will be inaugurated this month and the date for the same will be formally announced. Officials said that the new Arogya Mandirs will be inaugurated in areas including Sarai Kale Khan dispensary, Khizrabad, Nehru Place, Okhla, Darya Ganj, Gautam Nagar, Hauz Khas, Shahpur, Burari and Jahangirpuri, among other locations. When asked about the shortage of doctors and pharmacists at the existing clinics, Singh said, "The government has already undergone the recruitment process. As of now, 150 pharmacists and 100 doctors have been recruited and will join the workforce in the coming days."
