India, Feb. 13 -- I am writing this article from Abu Dhabi where the World Urban Forum is currently being held with over 10,000 people from around the world, (including from governments, civil society organisations, United Nations (UN), philanthropic organisations, and academics) who have gathered to discuss key issues and challenges that our cities are facing today. It is significant that the Secretary General of United Nations, Antonio Guterres, has declared this decade as one of action to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs) by 2030.
