Dehradun, Dec. 1 -- An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 hit Uttarakhand's Chamoli district on Sunday at 10.27 am, according to NCS. The earthquake occurred around 5 km beneath the earth's surface, said the nodal agency of the Centre under the Earth Sciences Ministry for monitoring earthquake activity in the country.
