Chamoli struck by 3.7 magnitude earthquake
Dehradun, Dec. 1 -- An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 hit Uttarakhand's Chamoli district on Sunday at 10.27 am, according to NCS.
The earthquake occurred around 5 km beneath the earth's surface, said the nodal agency of the Centre under the Earth Sciences Ministry for monitoring earthquake activity in the country. Earlier on November 9, an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 had hit Bageshwar district. On October 3, an earthquake of magnitude 2.1 had hit Uttarkashi district at 1.42 am.htc...
