Rudrapur, Feb. 16 -- A BJP leader, who is also the husband of a local municipal councillor, was arrested for allegedly beating a police ASI at Jagatpura Colony under Transit camp police station in US Nagar on Friday, police officers aware of the matter said on Saturday, adding that the ASI has also been suspended following the incident.
