AQI improves in the capital after wind picks up; Grap 3 revoked
New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- The air quality in Delhi improved on Monday due to faster wind speeds, prompting the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to lift Stage 3 measures of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in the National Capital Region (NCR). The 24-hour average air quality index (AQI) on Monday was 286, in the "poor" category, down from 326 (very poor) on Sunday, according to the 4pm bulletin of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Meanwhile, Gurugram retained its "poor" AQI from Sunday, logging 201 on Monday at 4pm, compared to 228 the day before....
