New Delhi, June 15 -- A seven-year-old boy died after he allegedly drowned in the swimming pool of a water park in north Delhi's GT Karnal Road on Friday. Police said the boy's family was also in the pool and found him lying at the bottom. He was rushed to a nursing home in Sonipat, where he was declared dead. The boy's uncle then filed a complaint against the water park management on Saturday. The family lives in Nehru Vihar area. DCP (outernorth) Hareshwar Swami said, "The complainant informed his brother about the death. The parents arrived there, took the body home, and performed the final rites." On Saturday, police said the family came with a complaint and an FIR is being registered into the matter under relevant sections. When asked if there was negligence on the part of the staff or authorities of the water park, police said they are now checking CCTVs and trying to ascertain the sequence of events. Senior police officers said they will approach the court to exhume the body of the deceased boy for an autopsy....
