2 killed, 6 hurt in three accidents across Ggm
Gurugram, June 3 -- At least two people were killed and six others injured in three accidents across Gurugram, police said.
The first crash occurred at 12.30am on Monday on the Sohna elevated road near Ghamroj toll plaza when a speeding Hyundai Creta rammed a slow-moving tractor from behind. The Creta driver, suspected to be drunk, and five workers travelling in the tractor-trolley were critically injured. "Commuters had alerted the police control room, following which emergency vehicles rushed all injured to a private hospital in Sector 38," said Gurugram police public relation officer Sandeep Kumar. The tractor driver fled the scene. "The workers were flung several feet from the collision impact," he added. An FIR is being processed at Bhondsi police station.
In the second case, Nemanbha Masih, 39, a hotel worker from Jharkhand, died after being hit by a speeding car while walking home near Guru Dronacharya metro station at 1.30am on Sunday. The car fled the scene.
In the third incident, Mohammad Inamuddin, 36, a tea vendor, died after a speeding vehicle hit him while crossing a road in Sohna on Saturday. FIRs were registered in both cases against unidentified drivers....
