NEW DELHI, Jan. 12 -- Bollywood's gen next, including actors Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Vicky Kaushal met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday to discuss films and the impact they have on society.

Organised by filmmakers Karan Johar and Mahaveer Jain, the stars came to Delhi for the meeting. Jain tells us, "PM believes our industry is a soft power, and we contribute a lot to the society as the influence is huge. We thanked him for the GST reduction in ticket prices."

Rajkummar says, "It was an honour to join my industry mates in this discussion with our Prime Minister. Initiatives like these catalyse positive change not just for cinema but society as a whole."
