India, April 16 -- F rom airport looks to off-duty sightings, track pants are having a major fashion moment this summer. Once reserved for the gym, sporty styles are now being reworked as everyday staples - with celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kajol and Sonam Bajwa leading the shift towards comfort-first dressing. Spotted at the airport with her daughter Nysa Devgn, actor Kajol made a strong case for coordinated dressing in a brown co-ord set. Her striped track pants, paired with a matching sweatshirt and crisp white sneakers, struck the perfect balance between relaxed and refined. Taking a sharper route, Alia Bhatt styled sand-toned track pants with a checkered jacket. Weighing in on the trend, designer Rina Dhaka says, "Track pants have always had cultural currency. They first came into focus with Juicy Couture and gradually filtered into the mainstream. What's evolving now is the way they're being styled. Track pants have always been it; but today, they feel more elevated than ever." Leaning into off-duty ease, actor Sonam Bajwa kept things easy in black striped track pants, a tank top and a hoodie - an effortless comfort-chic look. Actor Aubrey Plaza also took things up a notch with her maternity style, stepping out in New York City recently in relaxed grey sweatpants styled with an oversized navy coat and chunky sneakers.
