Think your relationship is 'perfect'? These red flags say otherwise
India, May 3 -- Picture a relationship that feels perfect - no arguments and smooth communication. But no relationship is truly perfect, and 'red flags' aren't always alarms; often, they're cues to look closer. Mental health counsellor Aanandita Vaghani highlights patterns that can go unnoticed:
Healthy relationships have friction. "Two people with different needs and histories will inevitably disappoint each other," shares Aanandita.
Love can reshape your world, but when it replaces the parts of you that existed before, that's when it becomes fragile.
"An apology that comes with an explanation isn't always an apology, and this is a skill that needs to be taught," she adds.
It rarely starts as lying, but rather with omissions and softened truths to avoid conflict.
Waiting for love only when your partner is in a good mood can signal hypervigilance, says Aanandita and it is often shaped by unpredictability....
