India, April 6 -- As someone who has been around in the Indian classical music scene for over three decades, singer Kaushiki Chakraborty has seen the music space undergo a lot of changes. Talking about the most recent ones, she says, "I started singing on stage with my father, Ajoy Chakrabarty, 30 years ago and a lot has changed. While some changes are positive, some we are yet to understand. Some of them were obvious due to the advent of the internet. Every concert is recorded and streamed live on social media and YouTube now, and can be watched by anyone from anywhere in the world. So, concerts are no longer localised like they used to be. Also, the YouTube archives that none of the younger musicians could access earlier is really helpful."...
