India, June 5 -- In a chilling act driven by obsession, 17-year-old Pakistani TikTok star Sana Yousaf was shot dead at her Islamabad residence on Monday evening. The content creator, popular for her beauty and lip-syncing videos, had over a million followers across TikTok and Instagram. In a statement, Islamabad police called the killing "gruesome and cold-blooded". Footage showed the suspect - a 22-year-old man - loitering outside Sana's house ahead of the attack. "It was a case of repeated rejections. The boy was trying to reach out to her time and again," Islamabad police chief Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said during a presser. Sana had posted a Reel of her 17th birthday celebrations (see below) hours before her death. Despite the hashtag #JusticeforSanaYousaf trended in the wake of the murder, several disturbing comments suggesting the killing was warranted because of the teenager's online presence emerged - a sentiment rooted in the notions of "honour" and gender roles.htc...
