India, Nov. 11 -- Singer Sonu Nigam's Satrangi Re India tour slayed Mumbai's MMRDA Grounds on Sunday. The concert turned into an unforgettable event as nearly 13,000 fans packed the venue, throwing their hands in the air and grooving non-stop. The Padma Shri recipient proved yet again why he's a living legend, putting on a show that was a total masterclass in how music can unite, inspire, and rock. Talking about his performance, the singer said, "Satrangi Re is a very carefully and tastefully curated concept for true music aficionados. The kind of effort invested by (organisers) Namrata Gupta Khan and Rabbani Mustafa Khan from NR Talent & Event Management and the entire team is unbelievable. What Mumbai experienced at the first concert of the tour was unmatched. As someone who has performed thousands of concerts across the world, it was a one-of-a-kind night for me too." The organisers also reflected on the success of the show. "His repertoire of music is unmatched, and that coupled with the effort he invests in his craft only makes you more confident as an organiser," Rabbani said. And Namrata added, "Our entire team spent almost a year prepping for Satrangi Re, because it's an endeavour that demanded a lot of uniqueness vis-a-vis production and scale. We are glad it got such a stellar start in Mumbai." htc...
