India, Feb. 19 -- On Tuesday, actor-couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani shared emotional tributes to Sidharth's father, Sunil Malhotra, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 14. Sunil, a former Merchant Navy Captain, had been battling health issues for some time, including complications following a stroke that had earlier confined him to a wheelchair. Sharing a heartfelt note, Sidharth wrote, "He was a man of rare honesty, integrity and culture. He lived by values that never bent. Discipline without harshness. Strength without ego. Positivity, even when life tested him beyond measure... Papa, your integrity is my inheritance... I am who I am because of you. And I will carry your name, your values and your light forward always." Kiara, too, posted warm pictures with her father-in-law, writing, "From the very beginning - you welcomed me with open arms, steady wisdom, and a kind of unconditional love that grounded us all... You leave behind a legacy of gentleness, integrity, and deep, unwavering love. It lives on in your children, grandchildren and in all of us who were blessed to know you. Rest peacefully." Sidharth, 41, and Kiara, 34, rushed to Delhi after hearing the news. Sunil's last rites were held on Tuesday.
