Shweta Tripathi to ring in New Year with hubby on film set
India, Dec. 28 -- Actor Shweta Tripathi will be ushering in the New Year on the sets of her next film in Bhopal, but she won't be spending it away from her husband, musician Chaitanya 'Slo Cheeta' Sharma.
Shweta had recently wrapped a key schedule of Mirzapur: The Movie before moving straight into an intense shoot for an upcoming, untitled film. With her choc-a-bloc schedule keeping her from returning to Mumbai, Chaitanya decided to show up on set instead.
"I honestly did not see this coming at all," she shares, adding, "When you're working through the holidays, you mentally prepare yourself to miss celebrations and family time. So having Cheeta suddenly show up in Bhopal was emotional and beautiful. It reminded me how important it is to have a partner who truly understands your journey."
The actor, best known for playing Golu in the web series Mirzapur, says his presence has brought renewed energy to an otherwise demanding work phase: "Even if I'm working on New Year's, it doesn't feel like I'm missing out anymore. We'll create our own little celebration between shoots and early call times."
Calling it "true partnership", Shweta concludes, "It's about showing up for each other and finding joy even in the busiest moments."...
