Seema Dwivedi: Ab har waqt yahi lagta hai Shubham kahin se wapis aa jaye

eema Dwivedi's son, Shubham, remains in her mind as the prince, the handsome groom he was on February 12, the evening of his wedding. She continues to hope for his return 18 days after he was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22: "Jab woh hua tha, uske nana ne uska naam Prince rakha tha, ki humara rajkumar hua hai. Ab har waqt yahi lagta hai ki bas kahin se woh wapis aa jaye."
30-year-old Shubham had gone to Kashmir with his wife Ashanya, parents, in-laws, and his sister's family. Seema describes him as a loving, caring son. "He really cared for me, loved me a lot," she recalls. "Whenever I felt unwell, he'd say, 'Aap baith jao, main sab kuch kar doonga.'" Even during their Kashmir trip, he held her hand, fearing she might fall.
On April 22, while trekking in Pahalgam, Seema asked Shubham if he wanted to come down with her. He refused, planning to go higher up. "Usne ghode wale se poocha, 'Bhaiya, upar network aata hai?'," she says. "Agar network nahin aata, toh mera beta bhi mere saath neecha aa jaata." Seema adds that Shubham made his wedding dreams come true with a destination wedding and a grand party: "Apne armaan poore karke, apne aap ko shaheed naam deke, desh ke liye chala gaya."...
