Sarvodaya upgrades cancer care with minimally invasive robotic surgeries
India, Nov. 30 -- Cancer is a challenging health condition that deeply affects both the physical and emotional well-being of patients. However, with the rapid advancement of science and medical technology, new treatment innovations are making cancer care more effective and less traumatic.
One such breakthrough is the AI-powered Smart Surgical Robot introduced at Sarvodaya Hospital, Sector 8, Faridabad. This state-of-the-art robotic system enables minimally invasive cancer surgeries, helping patients recover faster with less pain and return to their normal routines much sooner.
The robot has already supported several complex cancer surgeries at the hospital, including the removal of oesophageal cancer in a 64-year-old patient, abdominal tumour surgeries, prostate cancer procedures, and more.
"The robotic platform significantly enhances accuracy, making even the most delicate surgeries safer and more efficient. It provides a 3D view of internal organs, enables access to difficult regions, and allows tremor-free precision," says Dr Naveen Sanchety, Director, Surgical Oncology, Sarvodaya Cancer Institute.
Thanks to this advanced approach, patients benefit from tiny incisions, minimal blood loss, faster healing, and shorter hospital stays.
Sarvodaya's robotic surgery programme is transforming outcomes across multiple specialities, including urology, oncology, bariatrics, hernia, appendix, gall bladder, and more, setting new standards in surgical excellence and patient care. HTC...
