India, Oct. 5 -- Last month, actor Salman Khan completed the first schedule of his much-anticipated film Battle of Galwan in Leh, Ladakh. After shooting a rigourous 45-day schedule, the actor returned to Mumbai last week where he was spotted clean-shaven. The 59-year-old reportedly took a break from filming after he sustained injuries while shooting in Leh. However, a source close to the project has revealed that the actor is now set to move on to the final leg of the film. "After wrapping up the first schedule in Ladakh, Salman and the rest of the cast will resume the second schedule in Mumbai this month. The shoot is expected to conclude by November," the insider shares, adding, "Actor Chitrangada Singh will also join this schedule. The recce has been completed, but the details of the exact locations are still under wraps." Director Apoorva Lakhia and cast member Ankur Bhatia had shared several behind-the-scenes glimpses of the Ladakh shoot on social media, giving fans a peek into the big-budget production. Mounted on a large scale, Battle of Galwan will see Salman play an army officer as the film revisits the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops - a rare border skirmish that turned deadly despite the absence of firearms. Away from the sets, Salman also paid a visit to Ladakh's Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta at Raj Niwas in Leh.
