Reel swag, real warning: Delhi Police uses Akshaye Khanna's viral dance to say no to drugs
India, Dec. 13 -- Capitalising on the massive buzz around the recently released film Dhurandhar, Delhi Police has turned pop culture into a punchy public service message. Using actor Akshaye Khanna's viral dance during Rehman Dakait's stylish celebration as Sher-e-Baloch, Delhi Police have driven home a strong anti-drug warning on X.
Cleverly juxtaposing the swagger and stark reality using Bollywood (see screengrabs right), the post was captioned: "Drug's high might feel real, but it's an illusion. Don't trade your truth for a moment's delusion!"
Social media users were quick to applaud the move. "Even Delhi Police is vibing on this banger," wrote one user. Another commented, "The best marketing talent of this country is with Delhi Police." A third added, "Sahi hai Dilli Police! Nice way to keep the song on a loop at work!"
