Ranbir Kapoor turns 'matcha guy' thanks to Alia Bhatt

hen it comes to Ranbir Kapoor, conversations usually revolve around his films, his football mania or his easy charm on screen. But in a recent chat with Diet Sabya, the actor surprised fans by confessing that his go-to drink isn't coffee or a cocktail - it's matcha.
Yes, the frothy green beverage that has become Gen Z's wellness obsession has now found a loyal fan in Ranbir. And if you've been trying to convince your partner that sipping a jade-green latte doesn't dent masculinity, you may now have Kapoor's endorsement on your side.
The actor credits his wife, Alia Bhatt, for the switch. Known for her wellness-first lifestyle, it's little wonder that matcha has made its way into the Kapoor household. "Fortunately or unfortunately, I have converted myself into a matcha guy because of my wife. It's quite divided because some people are really for it and some people are against it. But I think a good matcha with almond milk and some jaggery tastes pretty good. And it gives me my caffeine," Kapoor said.
Matcha is rich in antioxidants (catechins) that protect cells from damage, boosts metabolism, aids fat burning and contains L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes calmness while improving alertness.
