Prada's Rs.69K safety pin has the internet in stitches

rada's latest "it" accessory is trending, but not for the usual reasons. The Italian luxury house has released a safety pin brooch priced at nearly Rs.69,000 ($775), featuring a simple metal pin, a few colourful threads, and the signature Prada charm. Meant to be a statement piece, it's being hailed online as more of a DIY art project gone designer.
Social media, as expected, isn't buying it. One user joked, "My grandma could make this for free," while another wrote, "Finally, a Rs.69,000 way to keep my sari pleats in place." Others dubbed it "DIY couture" and "Prada's version of jugaad."
