India, May 31 -- T he Philippine Embassy in Delhi has announced that Indian citizens will no longer require a visa for short-term visits to the island nation. Travellers can now choose between two categories of entry - a 14-day or a 30-day stay. The 14-day visa-free entry is aimed at tourists and comes with a few conditions. It is non-extendable and cannot be converted into any other visa type. To qualify, visitors must carry a passport valid for at least six months beyond their intended stay, proof of accommodation, evidence of sufficient funds, a confirmed return ticket, and a clean immigration record in the Philippines. Meanwhile, the 30-day visa-free entry is open to Indian nationals who hold a valid visa or permanent residency in countries such as the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore or any Schengen state. htc...
