India, Nov. 12 -- What began as an experiment in 2015 has now turned into a decade-long journey of rhythm, reinvention, and resilience for pop rock outfit Delhi Indie project. Founder and lead vocalist Ashish Chauhan reflects, "It's remarkable to look back at 2015, the year we formed the band. We aimed for a unique sound - and fortunately, we succeeded." Their distinct sound, a fusion of indie, rock, pop, jazz, funk, blues and Indian classical influences, has evolved over the years. Once known for mashups and covers, the band now thrives on original compositions showcasing their artistic growth. "Our music is all about experimentation. Blending genres and pushing boundaries has kept our sound fresh and relevant even after a decade." Delhi isn't just their home but the creative hub that shaped them. "Bands like Indian Ocean, Parikrama, and Euphoria paved the way, and we're proud to have shared the stage with the musicians we admired," he adds . After over 800 gigs, one moment stands out: opening for Bryan Adams last December. "Sharing our original music before the legend was unforgettable," says Ashish, calling it a career-defining, internationally recognized milestone. Looking ahead, the band aims to create more originals, release albums, and tour widely and bring their music to Bollywood and the big screen - to elevate indie music to new heights," he concludes....
