India, July 11 -- A reboot of TheNight at the Museumfranchise - brought alive by Ben Stiller and Robin Williams' comedic skills 20 years ago - is in the works. While the plot remains under wraps, Variety reported that the film will be set at the same museum, but with new characters. However, fans of the films aren't pleased with news of the revival. "Who asked for a night at the museum reboot," wrote one social media user, as another commented, "As the cape movies continue to fail, Hollywood is pivoting to stale franchise remakes." A third added, "A Night at the Museum remake is a big no no. It's a bad idea all around." The first film released in 2006 with three follow-ups: Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009), Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (2014) and the animated feature Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again (2022). Ben starred in the first three films as a night security guard who discovers that the exhibits come alive at night. htc...
