India, Oct. 5 -- Naquaab, the popular track from AD Records made its video debut on YouTube this weekend, and the response has been electric. After ruling music platforms such as iTunes and Spotify for weeks, the track is taking on the visual space with a music video that is already striking a chord with audiences with its powerful theme and slick production. The project was produced by Founder-director of AD Records Aparajita Dasgupta in collaboration with rapper and Founder-director of Wolvesmash Aurko Sengupta and Anikris Media. The team also features the dynamic energy of Nouman Tak, Founder Director of Swag Dance Crew, along with dancer Paau DC, one of India's most celebrated all-styles hip-hop crews (Just Dance India, India's Got Talent fame). Their performance adds an extra layer of intensity to the narrative. At its core, Naquaab is about masks - the ones people wear to hide pain, failure, or vulnerability. Aparajita, who has drawn inspiration from real-life experiences in her productions, says the idea was to create something deeply relatable. "We all wear masks at some point. Sometimes it's protection, sometimes it's survival. But there's also strength in letting go of them," she notes. Aurko adds: "Naquaab is about peeling back layers and revealing what's beneath. Singing with Aparajita has been inspiring. In my lyrics I've addressed her solo tracks - from Aise Bhi and Karma to Rubai and Zara Zara. I can't wait for everyone to hear it." Recorded at Soundwaves, Noida, and mixed at Diffshock Studios in Mumbai, the track is a polished, high-value production. Viewers have described the music video as "raw yet stylish," "haunting but honest," and "a song that feels personal." The audio had already built a strong presence across streaming platforms, but the video release has given Naquaab a new dimension. Aparajita concludes: "The success of Naquaab is more than numbers or views. It is proof that a song born out of lived experiences can cut through the noise and reach people where it matters most - the heart. Aurko and I are an OG duo to look out for as we together make magic happen when we sit to produce music." Aparajita is a singer-songwriter, educator, mentor & philanthropist. Her work is leaving a mark on the youth with the belief that, "Everything is possible anytime. Let age not be a hindrance to fulfilling your dreams." htc...
