Mukul Choudhary steals the show in LSG's thrilling win
India, April 11 -- Social media was left in awe of 21-year-old cricketer Mukul Choudhary, a small-town boy from Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, who pulled off a stunning win for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 clash, held on Thursday.
At Eden Gardens, he smashed 54 off 27 balls, guiding LSG to a last-ball victory while chasing 181. With the team reeling at 128/7 in the 16th over, the match seemed lost, until Choudhary's fearless, unbeaten knock turned it around.
Clips of his innings quickly went viral, with fans celebrating both the finish and his journey. Born on August 6, 2004, he began as a medium pacer before switching to wicketkeeper-batter, inspired by MS Dhoni.
