India, Aug. 16 -- A ctor Mrunal Thakur has broken her silence over an old video that resurfaced on social media last week. In the video, a 19-year-old Mrunal had said, "Do you want to marry a girl who is manly with muscles? Go marry Bipasha...Listen, I am far better than Bipasha, okay. (sic)" Mrunal has now issued an apology on Instagram. "19-year-old me said many silly things. I didn't always understand the weight of my voice or how much words could hurt. But it did and for that I am deeply sorry," she wrote, adding, "My intent was never to body-shame. It was playful banter, that went too far. But I understand how it came across. I truly wish I had chosen my words differently." The 33-year-old added, "I've grown to appreciate that beauty comes in every form. That's something I truly value now." While Bipasha hasn't commented directly, she shared a post on August 14 on Instagram that seemed to address the situation: "Strong women lift each other up." The 46-year-old wrote, "Get those muscles beautiful ladies, we should be strong. Muscles help attain good physical and mental health! Bust the age-old thought process that women should not look strong or be physically strong." htc...
