Midnight fuel crisis turns into a Delhi kindness story

Delhi man has shared how a routine ride home turned into a late-night ordeal - and then into a reminder that the city still runs on kindness. His scooter ran out of fuel around 12.15am, leaving him stranded on a quiet road with no option but to start pushing it.
Posting on Reddit with the caption "Thank you, Delhi strangers for helping me," he wrote that his scooter had been "running on fumes" before finally stalling. While he was pushing it towards the nearest petrol pump, a biker stopped, asked what had happened and offered to help push the scooter all the way there, leaving before the stranded rider could even thank him.
But the trouble didn't end there. The fuel station wasn't accepting UPI payments, and the rider had no cash or card. Even his request for just a litre of petrol so he could reach another pump was refused. That's when another stranger, who had just filled his own tank, stepped in and let him transfer the money via UPI using his card.
"So finally I revived my scooty with fuel. this time I was able to thank him, and finally I went home," the post reads.
