Mahakumbh: GIS Showcases Talent, Tradition and 6,000 Student Voices
India, Nov. 23 -- Gaurs International School (GIS), Gaur City, showcased Mahakumbh, Confluence of Talent & Tradition at Delhi's Kamani Auditorium, where Senior Wing students presented mythological and contemporary performances celebrating India's cultural richness. The event was attended by dignitaries including Kuljeet Chahal, Vice Chairman, NDMC; Vishnu Mittal, BJP State General Secretary, Delhi; and Swati Singh Verma, wife of Cabinet Minister Parvesh Verma.
With over 6,000 students, GIS follows a simple belief, every child deserves a stage. To ensure 100% participation, the school conducts five Annual Days, giving each student the opportunity to build confidence, discipline and joy through performance.
A special Annual Day dedicated to Beti Bachao Beti Padhao was graced by Smriti Irani, former Union Minister for Women and Child Development. Students presented a moving performance inspired by her life journey. Impressed, she said she was "mesmerised by the confidence of these young girls," applauding GIS for turning education into true empowerment.
Earlier this year, Padma Shri Surender Sharma attended the Junior Wing Annual Day themed "Seven Wonders". Children reimagined world marvels through dance, drama and visual storytelling. Sharma praised the school for blending creativity with global exposure while nurturing confidence in young learners.
GIS believes education must shape character and strengthen society. Initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Gaur Gurukulam, and the Gaurs Skill Centre - inaugurated by Sunil Sharma, Minister for IT & Electronics, UP - instil values of service, empathy and clarity in students at a time when society often feels adrift.
Manoj Gaur, CMD, Gaurs Group, said, "Over 6,000 students performing across five Annual Days is a moment of immense pride." Manju Gaur, Director, Gaurs Group of Schools, added, "In chaotic times, our duty is to raise children with strong character. Through culture and community connection, we ensure they grow as achievers-and good human beings." HTC...
