India, Oct. 26 -- Several international artistes, including Linkin Park, John Mayer, Pitbull and Blue, have announced their concerts in India, giving music lovers much to look forward to. And American actor-choreographer Lauren Gottlieb feels that these are very exciting times. Lauren, who is fresh off the success of her album Sajri, says, "I think the industry is the most exciting right now. Back in the day it was more film songs than anything. But now, there are so many concerts, independent music videos, and global tours coming to India." As someone born and brought up in the US, live music has always been an integral part of her life. "I come from Los Angeles, where on any day of the week you can go into a bar, club, or coffee shop, and there's beautiful live music. And when you live in that zone, it's hard to think of living without that." Earlier, the 37-year-old was uncertain about surviving in India. "Earlier, music videos were very less and I didn't know if I would ever be able to live consistently in India, because at that time, there was no live music in places," she explains, adding that now things are different. "There is plenty of independent music now," she signs off....
