India, July 12 -- D elhi is set for advanced hip and knee care with the introduction of a one-of-a-kind advanced hip and knee arthroscopy programme, brought to you by Profectus Orthopaedics. This initiative brings the expertise of Dr Ajay Aggarwal in hip preservation and joint replacement directly to India. Dr Ajay, MD/MS from Missouri Orthopaedic Institute, a US-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, will be conducting the surgeries backed by his extensive experience in this field. Dr Ajay has honed his skills under the guidance of Prof. Reinhold Ganz in Switzerland and completed his training in adult reconstruction at Washington University, St. Louis. His expertise is further complemented by his role in training and certifying orthopaedic surgeons globally in robotic joint replacement, in collaboration with Stryker. He has accumulated over two decades of academic and clinical experience and more than 10,000 joint replacements along with more than 3,000 complex revision arthroplasties and 1,000+ hip preservation and arthroscopy procedures with success and perfection. In addition to hip arthroscopy, Dr Ajay specialises in minimally invasive joint replacement, both robotic and non-robotic, as well as complex hip and knee revision surgery.
