JP Nadda inaugurates Max Healthcare's 300-bed greenfield facility in Dwarka
India, May 1 -- In a significant boost to Delhi's healthcare infrastructure, Union Health Minister JP Nadda formally inaugurated Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka, a state-of-the-art 300-bed greenfield facility by Max Healthcare Institute Ltd. With this event, the company also kicked off its 25th anniversary celebrations.
The inauguration is a strategic step in Max Healthcare's broader expansion plan to add 3,700 beds across key locations in India by 2028. Max Healthcare plans to inaugurate three other hospitals in Mohali, Mumbai, and Saket (Delhi) later this year.
At the event, JP Nadda said, "I congratulate Max Healthcare on establishing their 22nd hospital with this inauguration. Institutions like Max are vital partners in our vision of a Viksit Bharat, where public-private partnerships play a crucial role in strengthening the healthcare ecosystem. As we focus on making healthcare more accessible, Max will continue to consistently deliver quality healthcare services and contribute meaningfully."
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh, Delhi Health and Family Welfare Minister, said, "This marks another chapter of providing excellent and state-of-the-art medical services to not just Delhi residents, but also to people from neighbouring areas."
Built on an 8.62-acre greenfield site, the hospital is among NCR's first to receive a 5-star GRIHA rating for sustainable healthcare infrastructure.
