India, Dec. 5 -- W
inters in the hills arrive with a familiar rush of nostalgia, a cup of steaming hot chocolate or ginger tea setting the mood as the season settles in. This year, ITC Hotels has unveiled a curated portfolio of winter escapes across key hill destinations.
Welcomhotel Tavleen Chail, perched on a quiet hillside, is reporting a rise in demand for its signature Himalayan hospitality. Storii Solan continues to draw slow-travel seekers, with its forest pods and guided winter hikes becoming favourites among travellers looking for ecotherapy in colder months.
In Mussoorie, Welcomhotel's historic property remains a magnet for guests who love old-world charm, while Welcomhotel Shimla is seeing a steady influx of visitors chasing pine-scented stillness and crisp mountain air. Manali, meanwhile, stays a classic winter hub. Welcomhotel Hamsa and Storii by ITC Hotels, Urvashi's Retreat are catering to travellers who want a mix of cosy stays and adventure-forward itineraries.
Farther north, Welcomhotel Pine N Peak in Pahalgam, tucked amid towering pines, is drawing interest for its bonfire evenings, snow-lined trails and traditional Kashmiri Kahwa. Pilgrim travel is robust too, with Welcomhotel Katra conveniently located near the Vaishno Devi Shrine. And at Storii Dharamshala, valley-facing rooms and hillside picnics continue to be crowd favourites.
Completing the circuit, Fortune Park Palampur offers sweeping views of the snow-draped Dhauladhar range, rounding off ITC Hotels' growing winter-focused footprint across the mighty mountains.
