it's the best medium for acting: rashamion theatre debut
India, June 6 -- After years in television, films and more recently OTT, Rashami Desai has now added theatre to her repertoire.
Having debuted with the Gujarati play Mrs Mara Online Che, the actor describes this phase of her career as "a new beginning." She tells us, "This is the best possible medium for acting - you learn the craft like never before. I'm loving every bit of it."

Apart from cameos in Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey this year and Naagin 6 in 2022, Rashami's last TV role was in 2020 with Naagin 4. Has she bid adieu to the medium for good? "I have definitely not quit TV. It has given me so much and I can only have love and gratitude for it. If there's anything special that comes to me, I would love to do it."
Is it the nature of the content that's kept her away for so long? "At the end of the day, the entertainment industry is a business. So when content is made, the commercial angle is taken into consideration. Of course, there's room to do better, but I have full faith in the industry," she ends....
