India, July 17 -- Actor-couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have stepped into parenthood! The duo welcomed their first child on Tuesday (July 15) and shared the news with a heartfelt Instagram note (see right) on Wednesday. It read, "Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl." The baby was "born via a normal delivery" at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai's Girgaon area, a source told Hindustan Times. On Wednesday, both Sidharth (40) and Kiara's (33) parents were also papped arriving at the hospital to meet their granddaughter. On Instagram, celebrities including Karan Johar, Samantha, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday dropped love and congratulations in the comments section, with Neha Dhupia writing: "Welcome to the best hood... PARENTHOOD." Interestingly, fans pointed out how all three students from the original Student of the Year (2012) film - Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth - are girl parents. "Teeno ke ghar Laxmi hui hai," one Instagram user wrote, and another commented, "Teeno ki shaadi bhi sequence mein hui thi." Another fan called the three Students' daughters "Powerpuff girls," as a fan joked: "All 3 can be in Student of the Year 3." Sidharth and Kiara met at the wrap party of Lust Stories (2018) and later starred together in Shershaah (2021).
