India, July 13 -- A ctor-singer Lisa Mishra is over the moon after finally meeting her long-time idol, Grammy-winning musician Pharrell Williams. Lisa was invited to a private dinner at a fashion event when she unexpectedly crossed paths with the American artist. Calling the meeting "incredible," Lisa says she's followed his work for years. "My experience was incredible because I grew up listening to his music. When I first moved to the US, Pharrell was the biggest name on the radio, the new Timbaland song had come out, and he was the co-producer on some of the music. I remember thinking how unique his production sound was. I've been a fan for over 20 years now," she shares. Lisa adds, "I've looked up to him not just as a musician but as a visionary who constantly pushes creative boundaries. To share a moment with someone whose art has shaped so much of mine was truly special." Lisa, whose latest track Teri Hoon recently dropped, believes she didn't need to explain much about Indian music to a creative force like Pharrell. "He knows Indian music well. Someone at his level, especially in terms of production, is already familiar with it. That night, I focused more on fashion and sharing that I'm a musician, rather than giving him any insights into Indian music," she says....
