India, Oct. 19 -- F or Harleen Sethi, Diwali is about slowing down and soaking in moments with family. "I don't want to be busy at all on Diwali! I want to enjoy the festivity. What is life if you're always running? I just take things easy and make sure I'm home," she says with a smile. The actor follows a few family rituals every year without fail. "I make a rangoli outside my house and do the puja with my parents. Then we all go to the Gurudwara together to light a candle. The day isn't complete without these things. I love getting my hands colourful with rangoli colours," she shares. On balancing family time with the string of industry parties, Harleen says, "You pick and choose which ones to attend. I'm mostly home; we also visit my dad's office. The day is for family, and after dinner with them, I step out to meet friends." As the festive season also doubles up as a photo-op for social media, Harleen admits the constant urge to post can sometimes take away from the true essence of celebration. "Yes, you want to capture every special moment, but it's also important to be in the moment. Otherwise, you miss out on the beauty of just living life," she reflects....
