I don't travel with my guitar all the time, but I should: Saif on viral photo
India, Oct. 9 -- On Monday, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a candid photo of her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, on her Instagram Story, which quickly went viral. In the image, Saif is seen sitting between tailors and costume trunks, dressed in a kurta-pyjama, casually strumming a guitar on set.
Speaking about this photo, Saif, whose next film is director Priyadarshan's Haiwaan with actor Akshay Kumar, tells us, "It was a photo of me practising scales between shots. That was a nice place to sit: Salman, dress dada, was stitching, and it was peaceful, away from the crowd near the camera. We were filming in an under-construction apartment in Bandra. Strumming helps pass the time waiting [between shots] constructively, but I don't travel with my guitar all the time... I should, though!"
The 55-year-old adds, "The guitar is an old Fender Telecaster I bought in Detroit while filming about 15 years ago. The still man, Mardhav Padhye, took the photo, and I sent it to Kareena."
Ask about the music he loves to play, and he shares, "I mainly play rock and blues. I try to play Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, as they are my favourite rock bands. I love all kinds of music, from punk to (late music director) RD Burman."...
