I always take long to make movies; it's just my pace, says Adivi

India, Nov. 3 -- Actor Adivi Sesh recently announced the release date of his upcoming pan-India film Dacoit, and while fans are excited, many are still waiting for updates on Goodachari 2, the sequel to his 2018 blockbuster spy thriller. Initially slated for a 2025 release, the film will now arrive next year. But Sesh insists there's no delay.
"I've always taken this long to make movies. It's just that people are noticing it more now," he tells us, adding, "I took just as long to make Major (2022) during the pandemic, but everyone assumed the delay was because of Covid. Even with Goodachari, I took two years. This is simply my pace, and the goal is to create something so good, people don't forget it."
Sesh, who is known for writing as well as acting, is equally mindful of the business side of filmmaking: "So far, the pressure has only been about quality, not money, because there's no wasteful spending. The producers know exactly where the money goes, there are no surprises. For me, a film starts and ends with the producer. It's very important that I keep my producer safe."
The actor, last seen in Telugu thriller HIT 3 and Hindi film Major, says, "I was offered two more Hindi films last month, but it has to connect with my heart."
Looking ahead, Sesh is confident about the universal appeal of his next projects. "Both Dacoit and G2 are pan-India films, and I believe they'll connect with audiences everywhere," he ends....
