Honour for India's former envoy

awed Ashraf, who served as India's ambassador to France from 2020 to 2024, has been conferred the Commandeur de la Legion d'Honneur, one of France's highest civilian honours.
At a recent ceremony at the French Embassy, Ambassador Thierry Mathou presented the insignia, recognising Ashraf's "remarkable career and personal dedication" in strengthening India-France ties.
